Logan McDonald

Community Outreach Coordinator

Logan earned bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University and her M.S. in biology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Logan conducted research on salamanders, frogs, and other misunderstood critters in Florida, Virginia, and California. She has an interdisciplinary background and has been involved in environmental outreach and education since her undergraduate studies.  She served as a Volunteer Coordinator with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and a Program Supervisor at the City of Ocala science Discovery Center. 

 

Logan is responsible for our communications and working with our partners to develop and coordinate outreach, public engagement, and education activities throughout the Pensacola and Perdido watersheds in both Alabama and Florida. She grew up exploring Gulf Coast beaches and enjoys kayaking, camping, road cycling, and hiking with her husband and their pitbull and cattledog mixes. Logan can be reached at 850-595-1479, or click on one of the options below.
