Bailey Walkinshaw

Community Outreach Assistant

Bailey earned her B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of West Florida with a minor in Environmental Science. During her undergraduate studies she participated in molecular ecology and analytical chemistry research. After graduation, she interned with the Alabama Marine Mammal Stranding Network at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab and the Panhandle Manatee Program with the National Wildlife Federation.

During her Panhandle Manatee internship, Bailey coordinated and facilitated outreach activities for the Panhandle Manatee Program, trained volunteers, developed educational lessons, and developed content for social media.

Bailey is responsible for developing and implementing educational lessons and programming, facilitating meetings and events, supporting our Community Grant Program, and assisting with communications.

In her free time (when she isn't keeping up with her two large dogs and four cats!) Bailey enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors with her spouse. Born and raised in the Florida Panhandle, she enjoys being out on the water as much as she can.

Bailey can be reached at (850)595-0811.
