Sonya Negley
Sonya has served for over two decades in various executive operations and development roles within many local, regional and national nonprofit organizations. She attended Auburn University at Montgomery and The University of Texas, Arlington where she studied Accounting and Communications. She is a certified organization management professional, certified social media marketing executive, and Quickbooks Pro Advisor.
Sonya has been instrumental in starting and scaling many mission-driven organizations including, The Montgomery Area Center for Entrepreneurial Development (The Incubator), The Small Business Loan Fund, and Group Benefits Health Insurance for Small Business. She also consulted on several Restore Act projects after the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.
She has worked with local, regional and national nonprofits that range from economic development organizations to cancer research organizations.
In her free time, she enjoys the beautiful Northwest Florida beaches, reading books, listening to podcasts and playing Mahjong with friends.
She also enjoys time with her two older children who live in Alabama, her daughter who is attending the University of Central Florida and her fur baby, Boxer named Bruno.
